Caught

"Alluring like a beautiful scent,
we are caught within a web,
playing the game of deceit with others,
hidden from the reality of pain.
Maybe one day we can let this go,
and be able to move on.
But we do not have this strength.
Perhaps it's cowardly,
but for us it is less painful,
hidden away within a tangle web of deception and lies."
